Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the safe navigation and operation of marine vessels under the guidance of the Boat Skipper.
Execute deck duties, including mooring, anchoring, and cargo handling, in adherence to safety protocols.
Collaborate with the engineering team to perform routine maintenance tasks, ensuring the vessels are in optimal condition.
Report any issues or required repairs promptly to the designated personnel.
Follow and enforce all safety procedures, protocols, and guidelines to ensure a secure maritime environment.
Participate in regular safety drills and be prepared to respond to emergencies.
Assist guests during embarkation and disembarkation, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Provide support for water sports activities, ensuring the safe use of equipment.
Maintain the cleanliness of the vessels, including the deck, cabins, and public areas.
Implement sanitation practices to uphold high hygiene standards.
Handle and maintain deck equipment, storing it appropriately and in good working order.
Assist in the proper stowage of safety equipment and gear.
Qualifications
Valid AB Seaman Certification.
Proven experience as an AB Seaman, preferably in a hospitality or marine tourism setting.
Basic understanding of vessel navigation and seamanship.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of safety procedures and emergency response protocols.
