Key responsibilities:
Monitors and analyses business performance by sell-out, gross margin and turnover and translates insights into key selling points and opportunities.
Identifies and monitors department related KPI’s, sets targets, monitors performance against plan and initiates remedial actions in case of discrepancy between actual and expected performance.
Analyses sales figures, forecasts future sales and interpret trends to facilitate strategic planning. Achieves budgeted profitability and growth of the retail stores within assigned network. Review weekly sales and product performance to identify opportunities to increase sales.
Inform, motivate and coach store staff to understand and analyze store sales against budgets and team performance on KPIs.
Proactively manages the relationship and liaises with Brand Principals on matters relating to product launches, marketing campaigns, forthcoming offerings and events.
Tours the sales floor regularly, talks to colleagues and customers to help resolve urgent issues.
Foresees business amenities and wholesales accounts to make sure that retail staff is well trained and VM guidelines are followed.
Partner with HR to recruit and select team members that reflect the culture and values of the brand. Actively network and identify potential candidates, working with HR to maintain a candidate pool.
Responsible for providing the necessary training to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, product knowledge and VM guidelines.
Resolves all performance issues in a timely and equitable manner. Provides on-going performance feedback. Ensures all communication is done in a pro-active manner.
Takes a lead role in building a strong retail management culture by coaching Managers, identifying skills and opportunities for development and providing advice and guidance on issues when needed.
Requirements:
Min 5 years of beauty/ fashion related store management experience
Experience in managing few locations
Experience in UAE
Experience in KSA market preferred
Proficiency in English & Arabic languages (mandatory)
Passion and knowledge for beauty brands
Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Ability to work both independently and in a group setting
Ability to frequently travel between GCC countries.
