About the Job:

As an Assistant PR and Marketing Manager, the candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day external communications, partnership/sponsorship plans for Madinat Jumeirah restaurants and support on all marketing activities. In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, agencies, and the media to ensure effective communication and promotion of Madinat Jumeirah restaurants.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Managing the day-to-day external communications for all Madinat Jumeirah restaurants, reporting to the F&B Marketing Manager.

Supporting the F&B Marketing Manager with the development of the annual external communications plans to promote the restaurants, with a focus on the three brand pillars of Jumeriah: service, dining, and design, as well as individual restaurants concept USPs.

Building relationships with key media in the UAE and ensuring their attendance at relevant restaurant events.

Supporting the dissemination of all communications materials to media including press releases, picture stories, listings, etc. via appointed PR agency.

Identifying and creating stories for internal communications to be shared via the corporate office and via Madinat Jumeirah Hotel HR teams.

Managing the media and influencer experience program at the restaurants, ensuring the highest quality of experience is delivered.

Supporting the F&B Marketing Manager to develop key partnerships/sponsorships for the restaurants with amplification through external comms to drive awareness of the restaurants, conversion to reservations and overall footfall to meet aggressive restaurant budgets.

Suggesting creative ideas and ways to differentiate the restaurants through impactful promotional tactics.

Working closely with the rest of the F&B marketing functions to ensure integration of activity across the relevant channels.

Day-to-day liaison with external PR, social media and media buying agencies, ensuring the quality of delivery.

Supporting the F&B Marketing Manager to measure the impact (including ROI) of external communications with monthly reporting, supported by appointed PR agency.

Supporting the corporate office to handle any issues that occur in the restaurants with the aim of protecting the reputation of the restaurants and brand in the media and on social channels.

Support the content strategies on social media platforms for the restaurants by ensuring any hosted media content is amplified across social channels.

Coach, mentor, and support in developing the marketing executives at property level to support in all F&B marketing activities.

Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for PR campaigns for restaurants with appointed PR agency.

Budget management and ROI analysis for all campaigns for the restaurants.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations or equivalent from an accredited and renowned University.

Desirable: Master’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations or equivalent from an accredited and renowned University.

4 to 5 years of public relations and marketing experience preferably with an international hospitality company, PR Agency, or a recognised blue-chip organisation.

Good media contacts within top tier luxury, lifestyle, fashion, and business press.

Excellent knowledge of public relations practices within the luxury hospitality industry.

Superior verbal and written communication skills.

Strong understanding of social media platforms.

Good communication and public relations skills.

Good understanding of core hotel operations.

Strong innovation and creativity skills.

Strong inter-personal skills.
