Job Purpose

To implement the strategies put forth by the product team and to add value added inputs

Visit/connect the merchant locations on a daily basis and conduct trainings and promotions for DCC.

To conduct analysis of the portfolio and identify opportunities where DCC opt-in at merchants can be improved.

The job is expected to manage, enhance & monitor all Business Support related functions of the unit, thus enabling front end Relationship & Service teams to focus on the marketplace

Responsible for launching new products/campaigns, adding new providers as well as rollout of these in the market.

Monitor and track the portfolio from an activation, growth, and retention perspective

Extensive interaction with Technology, marketing, and Operations team for product rollouts

Ensure the MIS and reporting for the product is relevant for the decision makers

To keep abreast product innovations in the E-commerce and mCommerce space.

Job Description

Ownership of the product/campaign launches put forth in the strategic roadmap of the business

Ensure right reporting and MIS are put into place from a tracking perspective

Improved DCC opt-in performance across key merchants and hospitality business

Improved DCC awareness among Portfolio team and merchant staff

Identification of gaps in DCC availability / DCC transaction flow at merchants.

Enabling a larger base of merchants on DCC and improving DCC transaction flows.

Provide inputs on direction / roadmap pertaining to new technologies & initiatives to keep pace with advancement in card payment space

Manage the enhancements on the existing products so that they are relevant in the marketplace.

Manage on-boarding of newer providers in the eCommerce and Mobile POS space and Cross Border Payments.

Manage the Payment Aggregator relationship from Operations, Marketing, Technology and Compliance perspective

Work with internal units for implementation of all Central Bank and other regulatory bodies mandates

Support implementation and roll-out of Mashreq’s “Salaam” loyalty program across merchant base

To work closely with FRMU & Chargeback Unit to track & monitor fraud & CB related losses for the product

To work closely with technology, marketing, and operations to ensure product launch timelines are adhered to.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

2-3 years’ experience in payment industry

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required to be able to implement and coordinate new initiatives with key stakeholders

Passionate go getter, willing to stretch the extra mile.

Strong analytical skills are required to provide insight into the portfolio to identify trends and support analysis-based decision-making process

The job holder should have a good understanding of the dynamics of the cards & payments industry, from a technical as well as business perspective

The job involves identifying trends in the payment arena and aligning the business roadmap with the same

Complete knowledge and clear understanding of Bank’s policy

Awareness of various financial products / services
