To assist Director of Talent & Culture in the smooth and efficient running of the Talent & Culture Department, ensuring that all the policies and procedures outlined in the Departmental Operations Manual are strictly adhered to.
Assist in supervising all relevant activities such as ambassadors, training, development, administration, welfare as per the operational policies and procedures.
Assist the Director of Talent & Culture in ensuring that the hotel consistently disposes adequate, motivated and skilled ambassadors at all levels.
Assist in the smooth running of Talent & Culture administration and recruitment procedure.
Manage ambassadors’ files on the basis of incoming, hiring, transfer, promotion, resignation and other modification data.
Compiles the operational staffing schedule, manning guide in coordination with the Director of Talent & Culture.
Updating of ambassador benefits, e.g. salary, bonus, payroll and accommodation benefits
Is familiar with the regulations and Talent & Culture guidelines issued by regional or corporate administration and ensures that they are applied accordingly.
Attends morning briefings and HOD meetings in the absence of the Director of Talent & Culture.
Ensures proper job descriptions are available for all functions, continuously adapts them in coordination with relevant supervisor to operational requirements.
Supervise the ambassador housing and ambassador restaurant and conducts random checks
Responsible for follow up of recruitment in coordination with the concern department heads.
Conducts exit interview in the absence of the Director of Talent & Culture.
Organizes social activities for ambassadors.
Assist in establishing monthly reports according to the requirements of the Director of Talent & Culture.
Maintains monthly overview of vacation and public holiday balance for all ambassadors and delivers a monthly consolidated summary to the Director of Talent & Culture.
To participate in career fairs.
To carry out any other reasonable duties as assigned by the Director of Talent & Culture.
Qualifications
Qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a same role within the Hospitality environment
Demonstrated analytical and commercial awareness.
Hands on experience across end-to-end T&C/HR cycle including recruitment, performance management and learning and development.
Thorough understanding of UAE Labor Law
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft.
