As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:
Oversee and manage all concierge operations within the hotel.
Provide exceptional customer service and personalized assistance to guests.
Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, assisting with check-in and check-out procedures.
Offer recommendations and information on local attractions, dining options, and entertainment.
Arrange transportation services for guests, including airport transfers and car rentals.
Coordinate guest requests and preferences, such as restaurant reservations and spa appointments
Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the hotel’s facilities, services, and policies.
Train and develop the concierge team, ensuring high service standards.
Collaborate with other hotel departments for a seamless guest experience.
Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:
Preferably candidates with pre-opening hotel experience.
Preferably a member of the Les Clefs d’Or or in the process of getting their accreditation.
Previous experience as a senior concierge in a luxury hotel setting
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on personalized experiences
Strong leadership and communication abilities
Extensive knowledge of local attractions and entertainment venues
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
Problem-solving skills to address guest complaints effectively.
Proficiency in computer systems and hotel management software
Professional appearance and friendly demeanor
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.
Fluent in written and spoken English, additional languages a plus.
