Key Responsibilities:

Category Management:

Oversee and develop strategies for each product category to maximize sales and profitability.

Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activities in each category to identify opportunities and threats.

Sales Strategy:

Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with marketing, inventory management, and customer experience efforts.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of online sales professionals.

Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.

Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.

Financial Management:

Manage the budget for the online sales department, ensuring cost-effective operations.

Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.

Vendor Relationships:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners.

Negotiate favorable terms and agreements to optimize product offerings and pricing.

Data Analysis:

Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to track sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Make data-driven decisions to optimize sales strategies.

Customer Experience:

Collaborate with the customer service and user experience teams to enhance the online shopping experience for customers.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to online sales.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Minimum of [5+] years of experience in online sales and category management.
