Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to the operation team throughout the lifecycle of compressors, analyzing their performances, operational conditions, and boundaries to ensure reliable and safe operations.
Troubleshoot compressor and rotating equipment failures and performance issues.
Utilize knowledge and familiarity with international standards to improve equipment performance.
Implement best-in-class solutions for rotating equipment, specifically compressors, as per international standards and internal company standards.
Lead efficiency improvement initiatives, upgrading programs, and projects for compressors.
Provide technical solutions for machine failures, utilizing maintenance strategies to analyze, address, and rectify root causes and prevent future occurrences.
Propose changes in operating modes, technological improvements, or implementation of maintenance strategies to support the company’s vision of continuous improvement through collaboration and communication.
Requirements:
This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the rotating equipment discipline, with at least 5 years of specialized experience in compressors, and 5 years of relevant experience in troubleshooting and assessments.
Possess thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, and international codes, standards, and specifications, including API610, API 617, API 618, API 619, API 692.
Familiarity with basic investigation tools and techniques like FRACAS (Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System), RCA (Root Cause Analysis), and TAPROOT is an added value.
