Job Details
The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
Knowing and Observing the Finance Directives set by Jumeirah corporate and verify compliance from operational departments.
On a daily basis to segregate the back-up documentation provided by operations and ensure communication to all relevant stakeholders
Ensuring review of paid-outs, rebates, discount checks and voids on a daily basis, etc.
Answering operations’ queries promptly, professionally and courteously.
Undertaking spot checks for cash floats in compliance with internal controls and to ensure that other departments are informed and well-trained on finance directives as set by the senior management
Assisting the finance team in preparation of monthly financials
Following all step by steps and finance directives that relate to income audit and to review them on a regular basis
Assisting in internal and external audit enquiries
Carrying out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Post- Graduations / Diploma or equivalent is essential.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of Finance application.
Had completed accounting certificate or course as an overview.
