Section SLT is accountable for the ongoing outcomes & development of all aspects of Section operation, from wellbeing to exit qualifications, inspection outcomes to stakeholder survey results, educational provision to events, curriculum to learning materials, the collection & use of data to SEF/SIP (and everything in-between).

Model and drive the WSS vision of effective teamwork, life-long learning (self & team), respect, building leadership capacity across the Section, and ongoing aspirational & dynamic school development.

Deliver innovative & inclusive problem-solving strategies, applying a growth mindset to positively navigate our dynamic landscape of change & development

Consistently exhibit values-driven leadership

As an SLT member, operate as part of a cohesive team, driving both Section & whole school priorities, and engaging fully with the Learning Coach to deliver a comprehensive, bespoke Section CPD programme.

Drive towards achieving the UAE National Agenda Goals

Expert knowledge of the UAE Schools’ Inspection Framework

Promote WSS positively with community & GEMS while maintaining complete loyalty & confidentiality.
