Responsibilities

Directional Drilling experience and knowledge is required to implement all directional drilling plans and procedures according to company plan and oversee all drilling operations of rig site and ensure compliance to all drilling objectives.

Provide assistance and training to all drilling trainees and manage all marketing and sales activities for various company products and supervise efficient working of all processes.

Conduct field operational analysis and surveys creating reports recommending approvements and optimization of existing and future equipment /products.

Administer all directional operations and analyze performance of all drilling procedures and assist all client representatives to resolve all issues and monitor job progress and maintain records of all data and prepare required documentation.

Maintain and ensure efficiency in maintenance of all company assets and locations and ensure adequacy of all supplies and equipment for operational purposes and prepare records for all equipment present on rig in coordination with client representatives.

Ensure safety in work areas at all times, according to required standards and provide required training to all trainees and assess performance and administer all drilling rig operations. Collaborate with various departments to manage work flows for all rig projects and ensure efficient working of same and prepare schedules for all test activities on drilling rig.

Analyze and evaluate complex datasets, compile concise and actionable reports and present findings to peers, management, and customers alike.

Creation and/or improvement of technical documentation (procedures, checklists, etc.) for field operations.

Job preparation for both onsite or remote job execution support for global RSS operations. Remote technical support and training for field operations.

Repair and Maintenance Technical Support: Liaise between customers and the global technical operations team on repair and maintenance support needs.

Skills, Training, Special Knowledge, And/Or Language Skills

Must take a hands-on approach with a ‘can-do’ attitude and equally at home both in the office or in the field

Solid reasoning and problem-solving skills required Excellent communication, report writing and presentation skills

Language- English proficient Language- Multilingual preferred, Desirable English, Spanish, Arabic,

Must be able to work long hours and weekends if needed.

Experience/Education/Skill-set Required

Bachelor’s degree (Essential). BS Degree in Science, Technology or Engineering related field.

5 years of demonstrated Directional Drilling experience with an emphasis on Rotary Steering Systems required.

5 + years as Field Engineer (MWD and/or DD)

Must have direct experience of Directional Drilling and Drilling Rig Operations,

Knowledge of Rig Control Systems
