What will I be doing?

As a Fire Command Center Operator for Conrad Dubai, you are responsible for the safety and security of all Guests, Team Members and contractors, and visitors while at the hotel. A Fire Command Center Operator is also responsible for the safety and security of the hotel premises and responsible for supporting in assessing the overall fire safety and life safety performance in the hotel, completing formal and regular performance evaluations and coordination of work activities. Specifically, the Fire Command Center Operator will perform the following tasks at the highest level of service:

Conducting regular inspections of fire safety systems, e.g., Fire alarm control panel, fire pumps, megaphone, eye wash station, kitchen suppression systems, exit door, fire extinguisher, fire blanket etc.

Maintain logs, records and documentation of work activities, e.g., dispatch, inventory logs, maintenance and repairs, updating fire book, training records, work permit records, incident reports etc.

Able to handle calls from other departments and guest and able to dispatch security officer

Able to diagnose basic faults in FLS control systems and report to FLS vendors

Able to manage the contractor and arrange planned preventive maintenance of FLS systems

Able to conduct Life safety equipment testing

Previous Fire Command Center Operator experience, preferably working within an industry which monitored large volumes of people movement

Experience in planning, organizing, and enforcing security systems

Current and working knowledge (proof of valid qualifications required) of fire, safety, and first aid

Excellent inter-personal and communication skills

Excellent personal presentation

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

Previous training experience with relevant qualifications
