What will I be doing?
As a Guest Room Care Technician at Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers Hotel, you are responsible for carrying out daily bedroom and corridor maintenance to deliver an excellent guest and team member experience. A Room Technician will also be required to maintaining stock levels, and ensure rooms and corridors are in working order. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Internal
To ensure Daily briefings are conducted with supervisors
To ensure problems are passed on to supervisors
External
To ensure that all communications to external departments or entities is conducted in a professional and timely manner
Main Duties:
To attend to maintenance requests (Break down, Planned and other wise) relating to guest rooms
To complete work requests and PPMs as directed
To report and follow up the entire major and minor repair and maintenance task related to guest rooms
To select and follow up for correct materials from engineering stores
In case of recurrent deficiency or defect to suggest and get alternative solutions implemented in coordination with the team leader & other superiors
To ensure the work areas, the storage areas and area near electrical panels or any other location under Engineering are clean and properly organized
To keep all the electrical panels, storage areas and access leading to the roof locked
To ensure safe working practices and conditions for yourself, your colleagues and any contractor personnel.
Request support, direction and assistance as needed or required by situations and work.
Be familiar with and comply with all the relevant technical services department policies and processes and standard operating procedures.
To perform other duties that the management may from time to time reasonably require.
To assist public area technicians and other Engineering technicians when required
