Key Accountabilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive business intelligence strategy for the supply chain management division, aligned with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
Lead a team of business intelligence analysts to collect, analyze, and interpret data to provide actionable insights for supply chain optimization.
Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement to develop a supply chain dashboard to track and trace supply chain KPIs and metrics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, production, and finance, to gather relevant data and insights for business intelligence initiatives.
Utilize advanced analytics and visualization tools to communicate supply chain performance metrics and forecasts to stakeholders and leadership.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven insights to enhance operational efficiency, cost reduction, and risk mitigation within the supply chain.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in business intelligence, and apply relevant advancements to the supply chain management processes.
Support the development and implementation of supply chain planning and forecasting models based on historical data and market trends.
Act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, providing guidance and recommendations based on data analysis to support informed supply chain decision-making.
Experience & Education Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, or a related field. A master’s degree or MBA in Business Intelligence or Analytics is preferred.
Proven experience (10+ years) in a business intelligence or analytics role within the supply chain, logistics, or procurement function, preferably in the defense, aerospace, or related industry.
10+ years SAP + Ariba experience
10+ years in SAP MM, EWM and S2P
10+ in consulting, aviation, automotive or defense industry
Strong understanding of supply chain processes, operations, and logistics, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and process optimization.
Expertise in utilizing business intelligence tools and platforms, such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar, with a track record of successful implementation and utilization.
Proficiency in statistical analysis, forecasting methods, and data modeling, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate insights effectively.
Leadership experience, including managing and developing a high-performing team of business intelligence analysts.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
Familiarity with international trade regulations and compliance in the context of supply chain management within the defense industry is a plus.
Knowledge of advanced supply chain technologies, such as IoT, blockchain, and AI, and their application to business intelligence strategies.
