Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Strategy: Develop and implement the company’s infrastructure strategy, aligned with business goals, and ensure it supports the organization’s growth, scalability, and technology roadmap.

IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and management of the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, virtualization, and telecommunications systems.

Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing infrastructure team, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering a culture of collaboration, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Network and Connectivity: Ensure the reliability, availability, and security of the company’s network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, and remote access solutions.

Data Center Management: Oversee the operations of the company’s data centers, including server provisioning, hardware maintenance, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.

Cloud Infrastructure: Evaluate, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring the company’s cloud-based systems are secure, performant, and cost-effective.

Vendor Management: Establish and manage relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and outsourcing partners, ensuring service level agreements are met and contracts are optimized.

IT Operations: Define and implement IT operational procedures and best practices, ensuring efficient incident management, problem resolution, change management, and service delivery.

Security and Compliance: Collaborate with the security team to implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Budgeting and Cost Optimization: Develop and manage the infrastructure budget, ensuring cost optimization, efficient resource allocation, and alignment with business objectives.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications are advantageous.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure management, preferably within the financial services industry.

Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of building and managing high-performing infrastructure teams, fostering collaboration, and driving results.

Infrastructure Expertise: Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies and best practices, including servers, networks, storage, virtualization, data centers, cloud platforms, and telecommunications.

Networking and Security: Solid understanding of network protocols, security principles, firewalls, VPNs, and network architecture, with experience in designing and managing secure infrastructure environments.

Cloud Computing: Proficiency in cloud infrastructure platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), including experience in cloud migration, scalability, cost optimization, and security.

Vendor Management: Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure service level agreements are met.

Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
