Job Description

Quality of Teaching, Learning and Assessment (TLA):

Ensure that the quality of TLA continues to move towards Outstanding across the school.

Ensure that high quality of assessment leads to improvements in teaching and learning which in turn leads to improved student outcomes.

Staff Development

Ensure that areas of development are identified through QA systems are addressed through appropriate staff training.

Quality Assurance

Ensure effective self-evaluation and Quality Assurance systems across the school.

Oversee the writing of all parts, based on Self Evaluation Form (SEF) related to TLA.

Write improvement plans, based on self and external evaluation, relating to quality of TLA.

Report to SLT on the quality of TLA and implementation of improvement plans.

Student Outcomes

Ensure that high quality TLA leads to improved student outcomes.

Lead the examinations and data teams to develop efficient and effective systems that lead to improved academic outcomes.

Ensure examinations and other assessments run smoothly for all students.

Skills

Energetic, enthusiastic and resilient, with the ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively.

A thorough understanding and ability to demonstrate knowledge of National Curriculum for England;

Well-developed leadership and organisational skills;
