Health Safety and Hygiene Job In Dubai



Assist the Associate HSE Director in developing & implementing Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Safety and Environment Management System, producing appropriate report for Senior Management and including Corporate Management.

Assisting the Associate HSE Director in providing & implementing HSE Policy, Procedures & Guidelines for Jumeirah Emirates Towers.

Monitor and assess performance and compliance to Jumeirah HSE MS, produce appropriate reports for the business.

Review standard health and safety documentation in line with Jumeirah HSE MS as required.

Conduct food probe thermometer calibration check as per Dubai Municipality requirements.

Review & present “Jumeirah HSE Report” for Jumeirah Emirates Towers and arrange monthly HSE representatives meeting.

Handle issues with external contractors.

Make requests for service as required in respect of contractors providing services for consultancy, e.g. third party auditing, laboratory analysis.

Monitor contracts / service schedules, follow up & provide feedback to clients as well as auctioning contractor’s reports, etc. & communicate as appropriate to colleagues.

Prepare documents and process for Tender program for external contractors related to HSE issue.

Handles administrate activities & inquiries to the JET HSE Department.

Take minutes of meetings and drafting necessary documents for distribution.

Prepare and process all colleagues related Expenses and Time reports and other colleagues related issues.

Acts as a first point of contact for HSE manager/representatives as required.

Handle the details associated with HSE conferences, meetings etc.

Ensure adequate filling system for the department.

Coordinate the training and development program for JET HSE colleagues.

Send and process the department customer satisfaction survey as required.

Control all HSE Generic standard forms in public folders adhering to Jumeirah International document control procedures.

Coordinate with external HSE consultant as required.

Maintain adequate stocks of stationery and office supplies.

Maintain office equipment in excellent working order.

Communicate new or amended procedures to relevant departments/colleagues in a timely manner.

Ensure all documents, records, reports, publications, etc are professionally organized & maintained.

Ensure up to date list of all files is produced & maintained, including title & file identification alphanumerical code.

Draft and review of appropriate contracts and progress to approval.

Schedule and arrange to purchase approved Capex items, budgeted items, including equipment.

Obtain quotes for the purchase of items & services with Purchasing & produce purchase requests.

Follow through outstanding PRs & POs & take action as necessary to progress them.

Create and maintain appropriate documentation for both departments on the Document Management System (DMS).

Create, develop and maintain Group HSE Team site on Mercury, ensure all information is correct and up to date.

Provide other administrative support & assist in other section tasks as directed.

About you:

In order to be considered for this role you will have at least two years of working experience in a similar role in a luxury five-star hotel environment.

You will have excellent written and spoken English skills, additional language is advantage. Knowledge of hotel operating systems is a must. Your experience in handling guest requests and exceeding their expectations would be regarded as essential.

Should be able to quickly learn and adapt to a new work environment.
