Undergo diving duties within DDW-D inland water as per the work instructions in order to meet clients’ and yard’s requirements to timely deliver projects.
Day- to-day operations:
Diving operations in the docks to a depth of 12-15 meters
Work with Docks and Marine department to place and remove rubbers on dock blocks during docking / undocking periods.
Assist maintenance department in maintenance of dock gates as required.
Assist dock block setters in arranging berth arrangements in the docks.
Maintain good working relationship with workers, appointed foreman, supervisors and management.
Attend any training for any activity required by the department.
Ensure materials are of required standard prior to use, reporting damages when required.
Work within allocated timescale to meet department targets.
Maintain good housekeeping in all work areas.
Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
Technical competencies:
Commercial diving qualifications from a reputed & recognized from diving institute equivalent(at least IMCA class 03 or 02)
Under water sand blasting & hydro blasting
Propeller cleaning & polishing, and other structures inspection & reporting.
