Duties and Responsibilities;
Ensure the implementation of operational plans related to supervision and inspection in the animal agriculture sector.
Ensure the execution of routine visits to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and technical regulations according to approved work procedures, and take administrative and legal actions against violations, reporting cases of non-compliance with biosecurity requirements to the Biosecurity Affairs Management.
Ensure the implementation of follow-up visits to all livestock production farms, enclosures, animal facilities, and veterinary establishments to verify the application of corrective measures, food safety programs, and biosecurity systems.
Ensure the collection of samples for control purposes, studies, and surveys.
Review and address field challenges regarding inspection programs and procedures.
Execute inspection campaigns on all livestock production farms, enclosures, animal facilities, and veterinary establishments, and monitor their implementation in accordance with a risk-based inspection system.
Execute directed visits (e.g., administrative orders).
Respond to service requests (e.g., non-objection to animal agricultural activities, etc.) submitted by relevant stakeholders related to the department’s field of work.
Contribute to coordination with waste management authorities to ensure the safe disposal of agricultural materials and seized substances within the department’s operations.
Be aware of the requirements of business continuity management systems and regulatory controls specific to the Authority’s business risk management system.
Perform any tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Sciences, or Animal Production.
5 years of experience within the field.
Bilingual (Fluency in English and Arabic).
