IT Audit Senior Manager Job In Dubai

Key Accountabilities:

Participate in the development of short and long-term audit plans, policies, guidelines, objectives, procedures, internal control mechanisms, and audit management systems.

Develop and implement projects and programs to assist in the accomplishment of established goals, schedule audits, initiate project planning, assess risk, and develops audit direction.

Perform risk assessment activities and prepare/update the risk registers, for IT across Emirates Transport.

Establishes the direction for audits, provides leadership to assigned auditors and manages the project to quality outcomes while meeting established time and budget.

Ensure the execution of a systematic, disciplined, and balanced approach to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of processes, internal controls, and governance processes.

Provide Business and IT management with guidance on IT risk management matters, particularly on application and infrastructure security.

Champion audit automation by supporting the implementation of an audit management system.

Manage planning accounting audits on the audit management system.

Conduct audits or lead audit teams in the performance of IT audits and reviews of systems, applications, and IT processes.

Perform pre and post-implementation reviews of system implementations or enhancements

Perform IT security audits (e.g. network, operating system, and data center), including evaluating if security vulnerabilities are properly identified and mitigated.

Evaluate information general computing controls and provide value-added feedback. Test compliance with those controls.

Perform various other reviews of IT management policies and procedures such as change management, business continuity planning/ disaster recovery, and information security to ensure that controls surrounding these processes are adequate.

Develop, build & implement tools to analyze data to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness, (including for risk assessments and audit management).

Act as a source for analytics that business units adopt to provide business insights or for continuous auditing.

Responsible for developing and maintaining the IT Risk Assessment across Emirates Transport under the oversight of the Internal Audit Director; including identifying areas where business units should consider additional investment and areas internal audit should focus on.

Achieve high professional standards of audit performance, reports, and recommendations in conformity with International Standards of Internal Audit and within Emirates Transport policy, procedures, and long-range goals.

Expected Qualifications:

BSC in an IT-related field

Experience and Skills Set:

Minimum of 8 years experience in technology audit and assurance

Extensive information security, cybersecurity, and network control audit knowledge.

Solid experience in data analytics and reporting

Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage)

Great interpersonal and communication skills
