Job Responsibilities
Understand and coordinate operation’s functions within transportation
Understand inland marine logistics
Notify fleets of incoming/outgoing barges.
Communicate issues to Commercial contacts for resolution.
Arrange shipping and return related operations
Prepare all the shipping, clearance documents and certifications
Performs assignments with knowledge and application of basic engineering and measurement while drilling principles. Maintained equipment inventory and supervises movement to and from well site.
Created computer database for on-going jobs; prepares job ticket, daily reporting and end-of-well reports. Job tasks, correctly performed, have minimal impact upon the viability of the organization.
Forecast inventory requirements significantly reducing transportation and inventory management cost
Responsible for optimizing processes to ensure the safe, timely, efficient and effective flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections/departments according to production schedules.
Liaise with department leaders to develop material allocation strategies and requirements.
Developed Desktop Operating Procedures for the implementation and ongoing use of GM’s Material Inventory and Tracking Management system at varying levels within the organization.
Performs difficult and very complex logistics assignments involving the development, execution, supervision, and coordination of all technical aspects of logistics management on a large construction program.
Supervises a team of inspectors and engineers, ensuring that programs logistics plans and requirement are implemented in accordance with client requirements
Monitors and coordinates all contractors’ activities for assigned areas.
Collaborates with construction management to eliminate any hazards associated with the work that may adversely affect the environment or the safety or health of public, employees and users of the areas.
Develops logistics related schedules for construction, operation, maintenance and monitors progress and compliance.
Ensures that materials received meet specifications and established standards of quality.
Organizes the accumulation of assigned discipline data for the final project turnover and report.
Initiates and maintains records, back charge procedures, progress reports, etc., as required.
Interfaces with the client, stakeholders, local authorities, community development agencies, contractors, subcontractors and project management team,
Qualifications –
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Experience:-
Previous experience as PMC Consultant is required
Offshore project experience is required
