Your Responsibilities

Network Security Strategy: Develop and implement a robust network security strategy that aligns with the company’s overall security objectives and industry best practices.

Architecture Design: Design and oversee the implementation of secure network architecture, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, routers, switches, load balancers, and other network security devices.

Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify weaknesses and proactively address potential security risks in the network.

Security Policies and Procedures: Develop, review, and enforce network security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry frameworks.

Incident Response: Develop and maintain an incident response plan for network security incidents, guiding the team in detecting, investigating, and mitigating security breaches or threats.

Security Monitoring: Implement and manage security monitoring tools to detect and respond to network security incidents in real-time.

Access Control: Design and implement access controls, privilege management, and network segmentation to restrict unauthorized access and prevent lateral movement within the network.

Security Compliance: Ensure the network infrastructure complies with relevant security regulations and standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, NIST, etc.

Training and Awareness: Provide training and awareness programs for employees on network security best practices to enhance the overall security posture of the organization.

Emerging Technologies: Stay updated with the latest developments in network security technologies and assess their relevance and potential integration into the company’s security infrastructure.

Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to ensure the effectiveness of security products and services.

Your Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience (X+ years) as a Network Security Architect or a similar role in designing and implementing secure network infrastructures.

Expert knowledge of network security technologies, protocols, and industry trends.

In-depth understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, load balancers, routers, and switches.

Proficiency in security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.) and regulatory requirements.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex security challenges.

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
