Purpose:
Preparation of various types of statistics – Proportional.
Compilation of reports for the insurance authority and managing E-forms.
Responsibilities:
Compilation and delivery of monthly closures for premiums and claims paid.
Facilitation of proportional and non-proportional treaty accounts.
Generation of quarterly account balance statements, outstanding balances, and subsequent dispatch
to reinsurers.
Computation and preparation of data for the annual premium adjustment for Medical XOL.
Management of treaty accounts acknowledgments and cash calls.
Facilitate the release of all the monthly bordereaux.
Payment request review and approval.
Assist in creating presentations for treaty renewals.
Support management during the treaty renewal process.
Assist in addressing Reinsurers renewal quires
Oversee related operations such as:
Updating reinsurers on any loss that exceeds the loss advice or priority limit (pertaining to LIFE XOL).
Promptly collecting cash calls for major losses.
Analysing claims and their effect on various XOL covers. (Secondary Task – back up)
Responding to reinsurers’ inquiries related to the accounts or any other requests.
Responsible for the quarterly statement of accounts, reserves, and various calculations (commissions,
portfolios, cash calls, etc.)
Monitor crucial treaty information and work together with Brokers, Clients and Markets to resolve issues.
Attend to queries from Cedants, Brokers, and related parties.
Coordinate with the Other Departments of the Company for the submission of necessary figures required
for the Accounts closings.
Check and reconcile figures with the Finance Department of the company.
Perform regular reconciliations of treaty reinsurance accounts, ensuring accuracy and identifying
discrepancies for timely resolution
Maintain complete and organized documentation of treaty reinsurance transactions and financial records,
supporting audits and internal reviews.
Skills
Minimum Bachelors Degree.
Minimum 2-3 years experience.
