Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish mutually beneficial relationships
Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, new products, and cost-saving opportunities, manage vendor performance, including monitoring quality, delivery time, and resolving any issues or disputes;
Review purchase requisitions, solicit bids, and evaluate proposals to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures;
Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferably in piping engineering, supply chain management, or a related field
At least 4 years of experience in the similar role
Proven work experience as a procurement executive or similar role, dealing with steel pipe fittings (butt-weld fittings, flanges, weldolets, etc.)
Firm knowledge of pipe fittings manufacturers globally, relevant industry, and market trends
Strong understanding of procurement principles, practices, and procedures
