Key Responsibilities:

Ensure that the work carried out complies with international construction codes, project specifications, tender, work instructions, procedure and manuals as appropriate.

Perform in-process and final inspections in shop an on-board.

Perform non-destructive or destructive test method as per the work instructions, project requirements, International codes and Standards.

Raise occurrence report, develop corrective and preventive action and ensure that rework is carried out to customer satisfaction.

Collecting, updating and filing all relevant inspection records.

Perform inspections to ensure that the workers performance is up to the set standards.

Maintain good housekeeping in all work areas.

Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jo to ensure continuity of work.

Requirements:

Degree / Diploma in relevant field.

Minimum 3 -5 years expereince

Ship repair / New building, Oil & gas industries.

Plan, perform and carry out inspections in shop and On-board. Accept / Reject / Suggest in case of failures on jobs.

Qualified NACE, FROSIO, BGas inspector.

Should be conversant with applicable techniques & standards.

Knowledge and Experience in ship repair and new building yard
