Compensation And Benefits Operations
Implement the compensation & benefits framework via analyzing all aspects of compensation & benefits, job leveling and performance programs throughout the organization to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity.
Maintain competitive compensation and benefits structures to facilitate the attraction, retention, and motivation of employees.
Maintain compensation & benefits data and information to continually position compensation and benefits structure among its peers groups and participate to propose enhancements to the structure when necessary.
Support to review annual compensation and benefits process and ensure it is conducted in a fair, objective and timely manner.
To execute procedures in the areas of HRIS, letter preparation/issuance, End of Service benefits settlement/clearance as per HR policies and procedures.
To ensure seamless implementation of the designed rewards programs in a fair and transparent manner in compliance with the local laws and regulations, for grade mapping, housing policy programs etc.
Working under the supervision of the Unit Head to ensure the monthly payroll variation reports are provided on time to facilitate accurate payments to employees in a timely manner for direct hire staff and that applicable salary payments are maintained for outsource employees
Review, approve (or seek appropriate approvals, including review of DoA) on ad hoc payments and/or request impacting an employee’s compensation or benefits.
Ensure registration and termination of UAE and GCC Nationals on the applicable government registration schemes.
To work with other key P&P teams to ensure compensation frameworks are understood and well communicated, such as but not limited to health insurance renewal scheme.
Budget
Contribute to the preparation of the department budget and monitor the financial performance of a given area of activity versus set budget to ensure alignment with set budget guidelines.
Support sector/department approved budget planning and submission in coordination with the budget team.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
Ensure effective implementation of functional policies and processes relative to role.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
EHS (Environment, Health and Safety)
Ensure all relevant environment, health and safety policies, procedures and controls are adhered to so that employee safety, legislative compliance, and a responsible environmental attitude can be guaranteed.
Comply with all relevant EHS guidelines, policies and procedures, by reporting incidents and hazards in a timely manner, and reduce consumption of natural resources to support in protecting the environment and ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (Master Preferred) in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or any other degree within the relevant industry.
Professional certification in Human Resources is preferred
3 to 5 years of experience in HR Compensation & rewards
Skills Required
Language: Full professional English and Arabic proficiency both in speaking and writing
Skilled in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
High level of competency in relevant software applications
