Responsibilities
Devise technical training programs according to organizational requirements that will fulfil the customer needs.
Determine course content according to objectives.
Prepare training material (presentations, worksheets etc.).
Execute training sessions, webinars, workshops etc. in groups or individually.
Arrange for and conduct on-site training when needed.
Keep and report data on completed courses, absences, issues etc.
Observe and evaluate results of training programs.
Determine overall effectiveness of programs and make improvements.
Behavioral Skills/Competencies & Experience Required
Proven experience as technical instructor.
Solid knowledge of Drilling Industry.
Knowledge of modern training techniques and tools in technical subjects.
Experience in designing technical course content.
Ability to address training needs with complete courses.
Working knowledge in MS Office.
Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to crowds.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Degree in a relevant technical field.
Drilling Industry training (i.e. Well Control, Drilling Technology, IADC, etc.)
Essential
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:
Degree in Drilling or Petroleum Industry with minimum 3 years experience as a Driller.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Drilling Industry training (i.e. Well Control, Drilling Technology, IADC, etc.)
Knowledge of various training and teaching methods.
Knowledge of MS Office.
Presentation and Communication Skills.
Computer Skills.
Write, Read, and Speak of English Languag.
Desirable
Trilingual is preferred (English, Arabic, Hindi).
Good Time Management Skills.
Knowledge of NOV Drilling Operating Controls Systems.
