Sales Executive – Dubai, United Arab Emirates


Reporting to the Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing, Corporate and Leisure, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service

• Responsible for the smooth operation of the sales office at all times Monitor Phones, voicemails, sales mailbox – all with same day 2 hour response time Prepare collateral for site inspections, outside sales calls, and sales trips

• Enter, coordinate and follow up with Sales Reservations and daily show

• Assist with rooming list uploads as needed

• Pull daily and weekly reports such as daily arrivals, activity reports, GRC report Record and distribute weekly Corporate/Leisure Meeting minutes and “next steps”

• Maintain adequate inventory of office supplies; including sales collateral

• Handle/contract social room blocks

• Respond and represent sales manager(s) when out of the office

• Merge negotiated and group contracts RFP season efficiency/success; update tracker; timely responses via Lanyon, RFP & other 3rd party platforms.

• Lanyon, Cvent, and other on-line bidding platforms for Corporate and Group leads Serve as a backup to rate loading as needed

• A Bachelor’s Degree and/or Hotel Management degree preferred

• Two years’ experience working for a luxury hotel; and/or other sales related experience preferred

• Strong work ethic and the ability to work extended hours when required

• Strong organization and time management skills

• Proven ability to work efficiently in a demanding and fast paced environment

• Proven ability to work cohesively as part of a team in a multi-cultural environment

• Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Opera Sales & Catering, and ability to understand and interpret financial data

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
