Responsibilities
Maximizes revenue and profit for NOV for the account.
Highlights competitor’s areas of weakness or areas of large profitability. Looks to displace competition.
Develops cross or multi-segment initiatives to address customer’s needs providing significant differentiators to NOV and unique business value to the customer.
Identifies customer needs and develops technical solutions that will add value to the customers operations. Communicates the technical success of NOV to customer organization. Utilizes organizational resources to work on customer problems.
Listens for opportunities for their and other segments/product lines. Listens for market and competitive intelligence. Informs NOV via management and CRM (Customer Relationship Management).
Builds lasting, professional relationships with key customers at multiple levels to ensure NOV is a preferred choice and trusted supplier. Maintains quick responsiveness to the customer.
Maintains integrity in all words and actions ensuring ethics, quality and HSE are evident and a key differentiator.
Fully engages in the bid process for larger tenders: manages a common NOV position and justifies contractual strategy for bids to maximize the return on that contract.
Recommends to NOV management what resources are needed in order to secure the maximum revenue from the account.
Actively updates segment sales staff, and management on key information.
Supports NOV staff in establishing effective relationships inside the customer’s organization.
Uses the sales systems and processes to document and communicate opportunities, competition intelligence, and customer information including contacts, visit reports, intelligence, etc

Experience/Education/Skill-set Required
Essential:
Previous work experience in Oil and Gas, especially in Fishing Tools, Drilling Tools, Coiled Tubing and Service Equipment is essetial for this role.
Relevant Education background
Deep knowledge of competition’s offering, pricing tactics and sales strategies
Deep knowledge of local markets where the account operates
Proven record of successful negotiation
