Key Accountabilities:

Act as an ambassador for Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Lean Manufacturing techniques and processes

Translate the manufacturing roadmap into work packages for production

Represent Industrialization in concept design phases of projects and secure alignment of product concept and manufacturing roadmap

Initiate manufacturing technology innovations and oversee its implementation

Cooperate with other engineering teams to standardize the engineering activities across production processes

Participate in improving and optimizing the production industrialization aspects of the Quality Management System

Initiate capex optimization for initial investments into industrialization projects

Ensure adherence to the applicable process for product introductions, qualifications and release

Coach and mentor Product Industrialization Engineers on technical and operational skills

Experience & Education Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar field/ Masters’ degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics) Operations or Supply Chain Management

5-7 years of related work experience, ideally in electronic assembly processes

Extensive hands-on experience in Design for Manufacturability and Test (DfMAT), Failure Mode Effect Analyses (FMEA), Lean and Six Sigma

Key Skills:

Process Optimization

Knowledge of Failure Mode Effect Analyses (FMEA)

Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing techniques

Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM)

Knowledge of production process

Strategic thinking

Commercial awareness

Coaching and mentoring

Analytical thinking
