Senior Manager Accounts Job In Dubai


Key Result Areas: –

Manage and monitor the Accounts Payable and Inventory operations ensuring accuracy and timeliness of processes and reporting.

Strategize for the optimization of the supplier payment process for efficient Working Capital Management and maximization of early payment discounts.

Monitor the Stock movements to ensure accurate reporting of inventory in the various stocking points, and report on areas for improvement.

Lead the payroll function and ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.

Lead the taxation function including the compliance to Value Added Tax, Excise Tax and Corporate Tax related processes and procedures and recommend improvements to the procedures by developing or implementing best practices.

Manage tax provision and tax compliance process effectively and ensure timely filing of returns and handling responses to various audits/queries from the Federal Tax Authority.

Ensure maintenance, upgrades, and reconciliation of various accounts as well as resolution of variations and problems that occur.

Ensure compliance through proper reviews, segregation of duties, and delegation of authority.

Analyze changes in Accounting and Reporting standards, tax law and regulations and labor laws, providing timely advice for implementation.

Supervise the activities of the team to ensure accuracy and timeliness in responding to internal customers and maintaining books of accounts or computerized data when necessary.

Proactively interact with business units to understand their activities/transactions, develop information requests and provide feedback regarding the tax impact of these.

Drive continuous improvements across existing processes and tools and respond to and coordinate with partners to enhance governance and oversight.

Provide coaching/mentoring to direct reports in the optimization of their personal potential, so that the capabilities of the department and the corporate objectives are met and/or exceeded.

Knowledge, Skills & Minimum Experience: –

Education Qualification:

A Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in either Accounting, Finance or Business.

A qualified professional Accounting Certificate such as ACA/CPA/ACCA is required.

Work Experience:

10 years’ progressive experience in a relevant field.

Big Four experience is preferred.

Good understanding of the Tax, Regulations, and experience in proactively managing new developments.

Demonstrated experience in a Senior Finance Management role.


Self-motivated individual with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a very fast paced and quickly growing environment.

Must possess mental agility to be able to diagnose and troubleshoot problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Demonstrated abilities in prioritizing and managing multiple tasks with minimal direction.

Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail and sound judgment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Self-motivator that will seek out and wield opportunities to improve process and delivery.

Highly competent with MS Excel and other MS Office Applications
