ROLE PROFILE
Set the analytics product vision and strategy in liaison with the head of analytics and team leadsand manage the overall product management and governance for analytics use-cases
Lead the full product lifecycle, setting the direction for the development team to drive new feature development from start to finish – define requirements, write user stories, solve problems, make decisions during development, & lead ongoing improvements
Own 3-4 products across 1 or 2 functions; review existing prototypes & plan future portfolio and oversee the metrics that make the product offering and value proposition ahead of the curve & estimate & manage allocated budget to achieve product metrics
Interact with 3rd party product, business and technology counterparts; develop productive relationships to facilitate delivery from start to finish
Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business teams and other key stakeholders as their business partner during the entire lifecycle of product development, including deployment and post-deployment activities.
Develop and review the Retail Analytics policies and procedures and ensure it is implemented and reported on as a part of the policies and procedures for the Retail Analytics Unit
Know-how of various programming languages is a must, such as R/SAS/Python/SQL/BigQuery, etc.
Sound know-how of Azure, Spark, and git-Basic understanding of web application framework (Django, Flask, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax, jQuery etc.)
Requirements
Strong leadership and people management capabilities with proven ability to develop strategic relationships with senior leadership stakeholders
Good understanding of multiple algorithm/modeling techniques like Logistic Regression, Linear Regression, Clustering, Decision Trees, Randfom Forest, SVM, KNN etc
Knowledge of data visualization software and packages (Prower BI, matplotlib, d3, highcharts)
Strong business communication and presentation skills with proven experience managing executive-level communications
Proven ability to see the big picture with attention to details, translate data into meaningful analysis and insights, excellent understanding of the analytics ecosystem and value chain from both a business and a technical standpoint
