Qualifications
Minimum 12 years of experience
Bachelor degree in Civil, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering (required), Post-graduate degree (preferred)
Chartership with internationally recognised organisations (preferred)
Experience in GCC countries (required), experience in Abu Dhabi (preferred)
Proven expertise and experience in mathematical modelling and good working knowledge of relevant hydraulic modelling software packages such as InfoWater, Infoworks WS, WaterCAD, WaterGEMS (required) and surge analysis software packages such as Hammer, WANDA, HYTRAN (preferred)
Proven expertise and experience in hydraulic model calibration and verification and management and coordination of field testing required for model validation and calibration
Proven expertise and experience in water demand analysis, water balance analysis, water network planning, pressurised network design and surge mitigation design.
Working knowledge of using GIS tools, e.g. ArcGIS, MapInfo
Ability to integrate well into a team and lead other modelling team members
Good organisational and multi-tasking skills
Experience with local and international guidelines/standards/codes and technical specifications for the modelling and design of wet infrastructure, particularly water transmission and distribution networks
Experience in client service management
Delivery focused

Problem solving skills
Ability to manage client expectations and deliver projects under tight timeframes
Ability to work on bids to develop technical methodology and estimation of level of effort and identification of resources
Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
English language skills (required), Arabic language skills (preferred)
