Key Responsibilities
Communicating with suppliers to determine product availability and pricing information
Receiving and unpacking incoming shipments of merchandise, while keeping track of inventory levels
Processing return items that were damaged in shipment or do not meet quality standards
Maintaining an accurate record of all inventory items including item description, price, and location in the store
Maintaining an up-to-date database of all inventory items, including product codes, sizes, colors, and styles
Stocking shelves with new merchandise and removing outdated items from display
Performing clerical tasks such as entering inventory data into computer systems
Assisting customers with locating specific items in the store using computerized inventory tracking systems
Verifying that all merchandise meets quality standards before putting it on the shelves for sale
Experience And Education
Minimum 4 years of experience in warehouse management in public/private sector organization
Experience in warehouse management and inventory
bachelor’s degree is preferable.
