tasks and main responsibilities:
Proposing and implementing all policies related to aligning the strategy of the central financial systems with the business objectives of the department and government departments, in accordance with the procedures adopted in this regard.
Develop and analyze current and future business needs and collect relevant data in a manner consistent with the requirements of the department’s business and the entities benefiting from the services
Contributing to the development of the central financial systems of the Dubai Government in a way that supports the implementation of the department’s strategic plan and ensuring the improvement of related information management in coordination with all concerned parties inside and outside the department.
Proposing various mechanisms that would enhance joint applications to reduce costs, proposing and improving information flow processes efficiently and effectively, and implementing projects to develop these applications.
Proposing technological solutions for the constantly changing needs of government agencies and coordinating communication channels and continuous cooperation with system providers and expert houses to provide innovative solutions at the appropriate time.
Contributing to the preparation and development of policies, standards and guidelines that guide the selection, development and use of information technology programs in accordance with the approved directions in this regard
Contributing to the preparation of information technology application risk management policies and procedures and proposing and setting appropriate standards and security policies that ensure reducing the impact of these risks and limiting them as much as possible.
Proposing and implementing processes related to continuous improvement of current technological systems and applications in accordance with the nature of rapid changes in various relevant aspects.
Submitting periodic reports on the progress of work and indicating the achievements and challenges faced in the implementation processes and methods for addressing them
Continuous follow-up and review of developments in the field of work, and submitting proposals to develop work procedures
Performing any other tasks or duties related to the nature of the work as assigned
Qualifications
Basic academic qualifications and years of experience :
Information technology/business administration or any related disciplines
(8) years of experience for holders of a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent / (4) years for a master’s degree in similar fields of work
