· Proactively identify, in conjunction with Business Unit Heads recruitment needs on an ongoing basis.
Identify and source appropriate talent for current open roles within the organization. Lead the recruitment for critical, senior and confidential roles, subsequently creating talent pools where required.
Identify future talent needs and proactively recruiting and sourcing; develop talent pool or social engagements.
§ Manage the recruitment process and life-cycle, by identifying and building business cases for establishing appropriate recruitment channels as well as identify candidates through headhunting, on-line database portals, LinkedIn and third party recruitment agencies.
Consciously work to ensure that the candidate experience is positive and is in line with the internal messaging.
Lead a team of recruiting professionals in planning and executing recruiting processes, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency
Understand and communicate changes in policies, processes (both internal and external) with team members, to ensure business continuity.
Prepare and implement attraction, sourcing and selection strategies for the business, creating added value wherever possible
Work alongside the Chairman’s Office on various Recruitment related projects non company related. This includes assisting from an HR perspective in terms of new ventures, acquisitions etc.
Working alongside the Head of HR and external stakeholders on various ad hoc requests related to the senior leadership
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Bachelors or equivalent degree in HR or a related field.
Minimum 6 years of experience as an in-house recruiter or combination of agency and in-house
Minimum 3 years’ experience recruiting in Middle East and Africa countries
Experience working in a multi-cultural environment, ideally in a matrix organization would be preferred
Excellent English (written and verbal) communication skills
Excellent computer literacy and application skills in MS Outlook and MS Office applications
Strong work ethic and ability to use own initiative
