What will you be doing?
Define and execute the technical roadmap in alignment with the company’s vision and strategic objectives, ensuring that technology solutions meet current and future business needs.
Drive the architecture, design, and development of robust, scalable, and reliable software products, overseeing the entire product lifecycle from concept to deployment
Provide strong leadership to the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability
Collaborate closely with product management, design, sales, and marketing teams to
translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring a seamless and user-centric product development process.
Foster strong working relationships with stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and alignment between engineering and other departments.
Establish and refine agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives, to ensure efficient and effective workflows.
Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies, evaluating their potential impact on the company’s product offerings and making strategic decisions regarding technology adoption.
Manage the engineering budget, making informed decisions about resource allocation, technology investments, and hiring needs.
What skills will you need?
Proven experience as a technical leader, with demonstrable experience in senior engineering management role.
Demonstrated success in scaling engineering teams and delivering complex, high-quality software products.
Deep technical expertise in Java, AWS, Distributed Systems.
Demonstrated ability to formulate and execute a clear technical vision aligned with the company’s business goals and objectives.
Track record of making informed, data-driven decisions to drive product development and technical strategy.
Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly evolving startup environment.
Comfortable with ambiguity and able to pivot quickly in response to changing business priorities.
A track record of fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment, where diverse perspectives are valued and contributions are recognized.
